We are now down to T minus two weeks until the fall slate of workshops at Mixtape sessions launches! And leading us into the fall is none other than the talented Jon Roth, an econometrician and assistant professor at Brown. Jon has taught this one day workshop twice now and both times they’ve had a lot of positive response.
A little about Jon though. He’s the Groos Family Assistant Professor at Brown’s economics program. You can find his vita here. I’m not a big fan of pointing out a person’s scholarly output by simply naming the names of the journals, but I know that for many these are the signals. But not only does Jon have a steady output of top publications in economics in outlets like Restud, Econometrica and JPE, he is undoubtedly one of the primary leaders in the “new diff in diff” econometrics literature.
