Yesterday we heard the strong case that Charles Cobb should’ve won, but today we get arguably a somewhat less dark horse candidate, none other than the father of game theory itself, Mr John von Neumann! His book with Oskar Morganstern made a major impact, and without them, who knows if the young genius, John Nash, would’ve worked out his equilibrium solution.
