Difference-in-differences and synthetic control workshop! Taught by Scott Cunningham

This substack is supposed to be where I post explainers about econometrics, and trust me, I’m getting back to it hopefully soon. But I’m working hard on turning in the second edition of my book, Causal Inference: the Mixtape, to Yale University Press by December, and just have been more focused on that than explainers. One of the main things that the new book will cover is difference-in-differences, though, and if you’re curious how I approach that material, then come to my workshop, Causal Inference II, held online (not Brown University despite what the video says) October 8 and 9, and 15 and 16, from 8am to 5pm CST.
