In this 8th episode of Mixtape: the Podcast, I interview a fascinating economist named William “Sandy” Darity, Professor of Public Policy at Duke’s Policy School. We discuss his work on stratification economics, growing up in the Middle East, the role that group identity plays in inequality, reparations for slavery and even the very foundations of economics as a science (scarcity).
