Last plug for Demand Estimation Workshop
Monday February 26th workshop at Mixtape Sessions
I decided that if I was going to do this substack and have other people also teach on Mixtape Sessions platform, then I owed it to them to use the substack to tell people about their workshops. I also post on Twitter using this app called “Chirr app” which allows me to post without actually going there. And honestly, it kind of is nice because you get to post, but then you don’t get the dopamine hits, and you can’t get infected with anything that plays on your demons. But I also like to tell people about it here too.
Jeff Gortmaker will be teaching a workshop on demand estimation with his professor, Ariel Pakes, one of the three authors of the famed “BLP” 1995 paper on automobile demand. I interviewed Ariel last year for my substack which you can look at here if you’re interested.
