Rounding up a ton of papers on ChatGPT
I’ve been using this one particular draft of a substack to deposit articles on ChatGPT because my assignment for my “Issues in Economics” class (see old post) has an assignment that has them reading articles on ChatGPT.
The premise of the class is about machines and technology’s effect on labor markets, prosperity and inequality from the 1700s to the present. It’s two machine ages (Industrial Revolution and the present Artificial Intelligence age) with sandwiched in between the 20th century’s “race” between education and technology (i.e., Goldin and Katz theory of skill biased technological change).
There’s a couple of assignments for the class I am excited about.
