It’s Friday night. But by the time you read this, I’ll be in an airplane on the way to Madrid for the first annual “CodeChella Madrid”, which will be a week devoted to teaching difference-in-differences and synthetic control as well as practical topics with me, Kyle Butt, Mark Anderson and Dan Rees cosponsored by CUNEF and Mixtape Sessions. I’ve been MIA for a while as I have been tied up with various admin tasks I had to give my full attention to, but I’ll be sharing more thoughts about causal inference in the days and weeks to come.

Netflix has a new raunchy show, similar to the Office but without the documentary concept, called Tires. My son and I binge watched the whole season in one seating. Here’s a review. Netflix has already renewed it.
