It is T minus 6 days until first day of classes here at Harvard. Monday is Labor Day; Tuesday is day one. I teach Tuesday/Thursday just before lunch. I wanted to therefore share a few things I learned so far about the school after a day long orientation for new faculty that I attended on Monday.
