Yeah I found that article a long time ago and have really been fascinated by it. I thought it was interesting, and still find it interesting, that there is nothing about intelligence in the production function. It's a lot of non cognitive skills you might just think of as grit or resilience and spunk. I think he wrote that article the year after he won the Nobel.
