Brittany and Michael Countdown to Nobel Prize in Economics: Day t-2

We are now two days away from the Nobel Prize in economics and Brittany and Michael from TikTok are here to correct some wrongs by telling us the names of some economists from the past who they wish had won. So far we’ve had:

• Charles Cobb

• John von Neumann

• Thorstein Veblen

• Frank Ramsey

• Joan Robinson

One of these (Robinson) was passed over but the others were simply dead. Well, this character is a little in between both — he died before the Nobel Prize, but in a way, he’s never really left us too (or at least his mummified body hasn’t). Can you guess who it is?
